Starbomb album review

So... I preordered the Starbomb album and have been listening to it since it came out. Want to know my thoughts on it?

It's bloody awesome. Go. Buy it. Now. I'll wait here. Got it? Good.

I've listened to it at least a million times since it came out. The most common problem is 'it's all sex jokes, they're trying to hard.' and to that I say Fuck You. It's perfect.

Ash out.

Spoilers~

                                                                    I'm on his side.

Yup, I am.

If you haven't seen the film yet, SPOILERS. (I read that in River Songs voice..)

Seen the film or don't care? Okay, let's go.

I fricken loved Cumberbatch's Khan. I'm on his side xD I would do what he did if what happened to him happened to me. Also, for people all like 'the TRUE khan' blah blah blah. Look. I watched the original series and films and shit growing up. I prefer the new Khan.

My favourite scene has to be when you see him shooting the shit out of the klingons. I was like, 'murder never looked so beautiful.' I never thought fighting and running could be so sexy. Now, don't go thinking it's because he's beautiful and sexy and that's why I prefer the new Khan. Nah, that's not it. I just really like his storyline, character, etc. I'm just happy he wasn't dressed like this:

someone should photoshop Cumberbatch's face on that.

My issue with the film is the end. It's like *punch* black oh hey he's frozen. WHAT.

He better be back in another film :I because I am displeased with that end. I mean, he's fricken amazing as shit and a simple knock out is enough to make him go byebye? I was waiting for him to open his eyes, or bomb the speech or SOMETHING.

I want him back :I he was awesome.

Now, onto another thing.

I cried.

I'm also a little lost. While growing up I tuned in on occasion to Doctor Who but I only like Matt Smith so only got into it when I caught the eleventh hour. Everyone is like, 'oh, watch the originals and you'll get it.' but it seems hardcore fans don't quite get it. Also, to the people who are pissing on Steven Moffat... I find the series is FINE. Get off your high horse and write your own if you think you can do better. *smh*  Write fanfiction or something. I also find Tennant worshipers annoying |D look, I get that you love the tenth doctor, he's fantastic. I like the eleventh. Stop bitching. Thank you.

Hmm... anything else to cover? Oh. 3D. glasses over my glasses. One day I want them to make like.. clip ons or something. Before I get the, "Oh, if it's such a pain why watch it in 3D?"

It was the only english one. The regular was french. I wanted to hear my language and hear Cumberbatch's voice and Chris-whateverhisnameis (Sorry, I only remember actor's names if I'm interested in them) voice. Because Jack Frost.

I was also at the theater two hours prior for that reason. First in the theater with an hour to wait. I got bored and had my DSi on me.

                                                        Yeah... I was really bored.

My Thoughts so far on Pop Kids.

Pop Kids by Davey Havok.

So, I got this book Monday and I'm already at... I think chapter 22. (I'm not a slow reader, I've just been reading in between commissions, knitting, watching anime, reading fanfics and writing.)I just kinda wanna talk about how I find it so far ouo. Of course, since people love to tell me I'm opinionated, an ass, etc. I'm just gonna say this right now. This is my opinion :I and I will be a bit critical and make references to other books. Because I AM an asshole. Thanks. OuO (nobody reads my blog anyways.) I ALSO RAMBLE. I'll go off topic many times. I'M A RAMBLING MAN.

Over all, so far I'm digging this book actually. At first I was little.. hesitant towards it? I mean.. it's a pink friggen door. I was worried I was about to enter rupaul's drag race or something O.o (nothing against fabulous drag queens or kings, btw, I have many drag queen friends, I myself am a drag king. does anyone even use drag king anymore?) Oh sweet baby monkeys, the book is infecting me with that bloody word fabulous. By the end of this book I do NOT want to hear, read, or so as see a peep from the word fabulous. Unless it's Pewds. You go on being fabulous. Everytime I read 'fabulous' in this book I mentally read it super flamboyantly. Each time.

Anyways, this book I actually have to sit in front of the computer with Google open. Not because of vocab, but because I know sweet fuck all about brands. I stared at the book for five minutes, asked a few friends what the hell ksubis were, and then googled it. Is it so hard to write 'jeans' or something? Everything in this book is... instead of saying something like, 'I took off my jeans' it reads like a fashion catalog.

I mean... the last time I read something constantly mentioning brands was American Psycho. Just so you know I finished that book and I still don't quite know what happened. I'm so happy Glamorama didn't fricken do that, I'd go insane.

If I look at the writing style, it reminds me a bit of palahniuk... as well as my own writing style. Which I know he hasn't read unless he has a thing for slapped together quickly written unfinished punk related fanfics or.. a 15 minutes PWP made to amuse myself. In other words, it reminds me of a fanfic writer.. not crappy ones like twilight or fifty shades of ble. yes. wheat. but well written ones.

Another thing I want to say, after deciphering the large amount of brands expressed on the character (who we all know is Davey, he can hide it all he wants by taking his bros name and all, but it's like... he took his mindset now, made himself 'cooler' by his standards, and slapped himself in there, but everyone puts themselves into their stories.) I have come to the conclusion that 'Score' or 'Mikey' is dressed like a tool. Seriously, the last outfit described that I remember sounded like he was about to join The Hives or something... Or go back in time and be in some of the bands in the 60s or something.

Moving on... the sex scenes. Oh god.. they're horrid. I never thought a book could make my sex drive wither up so much. Seriously, one of these sex scenes can make kids go the abstinence route. They're gross. They're really gross. I read and write sex scenes all the time and the last time I was grossed out or irked by a sex scene, it was Maggie Shayne's vampire series there which sounded a lot like 'Twilight' so I can't remember the name without shivering.

--this break brought to you by my eggrolls. Vegan eggrolls.. what do you call them? vegrolls? sounds stupid.. uh... cabbage wrapped in dough? hrrmm...---

So far in the story I want to smack this kid upside the head and then take him to get an STD screen because damn, that is one skank he's seeing and with the constant description of cum, I assume it's condomless. That cum-in-hair thing? that is vile.

I just opened the book. chapter 22 is a page and a half long? seriously? o-o;

I'm at chapter 23 now. Pfft...

Moving on.. the constant mentioning of Morrissey is annoying as all get out. In fact, it annoyed me so much I put my Morrissey CDs in a drawer to never see the light of day again. They're dusty anyways, I find him boring |D give me The Smiths. So, yeah.. I think in the first chapter alone Morrissey was mentions something like five times or so...

My mind is blank now so I think I'm gonna go upstairs and play a video game or something.. I'll probably write more while I continue reading or do a full 'review' if you want once it's finished, but from the summary... I think he read a few too many of Palahniuk's books while writing this, the summary alone reads like one.

I Am A: Chaotic Neutral Human Ranger (4th Level)

Ability Scores:
Strength-14
Dexterity-14
Constitution-14
Intelligence-13
Wisdom-16
Charisma-11

Alignment:
Chaotic Neutral A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal. However, chaotic neutral can be a dangerous alignment when it seeks to eliminate all authority, harmony, and order in society.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter's dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. A ranger's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.
